Everything is being advertised as "GREEN". We are all becoming obsessed with environmentally friendly products. Not to say this is a bad thing, but some products are hard to swallow. Take oil products for instance, how are we supposed to buy that drilling for oil is a "GREEN THING". One of our business endeavors is artificial plants and flowers, and I would like to tell you how these are green.
* Very low maintenance. No water, sunlight, fertilizer or harmful pesticides needed!
* No need to worry about allergies with silk flowers and artificial plants.
* Silk flower arrangements and artificial plants are always green, remain beautiful through all seasons and never die!
* It has become increasingly difficult to tell the difference between real and silk flower arrangements.
* Flower arrangements in an office space saves time, money and energy.
* Many years ago the motivation behind creating silk flowers and artificial plants was to catch the perfect moment of beauty and hold it forever.
* No matter what the occasion, a gift for yourself or your own home, a loved one, a relative, a friend or a special moment in time - it is a gift that lasts
So this is why decorating with artificial plants and flowers is truly a "GREEN" thing to do.

Artificial Plants in Commercial Applications
Many businesses use plants and landscaping to warm their environment. People have a tendency to feel more comfortable and relaxed when they are in the presence of nature. I recently visited a dentist's office, and was surprised to see how much money and effort was spent landscaping their back yard area. The patients were faced towards the area, so they would have a nice view while they grind and drill their teeth. I could not help but notice many of the plants were wilting or dead, and the fish were missing. I asked about the fish and plants. They explained how the raccoons had eaten all their fish, and the winter was ravaging the plants. I cannot help but wonder what the people think of while sitting in the chair, and viewing dead things out the window.
Being in the business of selling artificial plants and flowers, I can not avoid thinking of how much money could have been saved if they had used artificial plants and silk flowers in the landscape. The winter would not have wilted the greenery, and all the silk flowers would be in eternal bloom. They would not have to hire a specialized gardener to prune and fertilize the garden, nor would they have to pay for the replacement of all those dead expensive plants. The patients would probably feel a lot better, well maybe. I guess they are still visiting the dentist. Then there is the raccoon problem. We do not sell a solution for that situation.

Why Silk Flowers?
Why would anyone choose to buy and give silk flowers? I realize for many die hard flower lovers, it is difficult to imagine choosing silk flowers over fresh cut, beautifully fragrant real honest to goodness flowers. They look so beautiful, and smell so wonderful right after they are cut. I agree, there is nothing like mother nature's creations. Or is there...
You bet there is. A high quality silk flower looks and feels real. In fact, often one has to inspect many silk flower products very closely to determine if they are real or artificial. A great arrangement has artificial pieces that simulate wilting, and insect damage. Perfection is not the ultimate goal, but to simulate nature in the best possible manner. The great thing about these arrangements is that their beauty lasts for years instead of days. Sure they do not smell as good, but you can simulate fragrances with extracts and oils from the real thing.
Why silk flowers? Their beauty lasts, they take minimal care, there is no need for water and fertilizer and they are hypoallergenic.
